To date, Beihai Port has completed the construction of 70 productive berths and 20 open berths，among which 19 berths are capable of accommodating vessels over 10,000 tonnes. The berths shoreline has a total length of 10,366 metres. Annually, it has a cargo throughput capacity of 52.21 million tonnes, a container throughput capacity of 50,000 TEUs, a vehicle throughput capacity of 374,300 standard vehicles and a passenger throughput capacity of 5.78 million trips. At the bustling modern terminal, loaders work in an orderly manner. The containers, like colorful building blocks, are piled up together under the manipulation of cranes.
